About the Programs We Offer
Little Braves Minors (T-Ball/Coach Pitch):
The Minors (T-Ball) division is for 5-6 year old players who are just getting started with the game. 4 year olds who will be entering Kindergarten the following September are eligible to join as well. 7 year olds with no prior experience are encouraged to join this beginner level as it focuses on the basic concepts of the game of baseball. Tees will be used at the beginning of the year and slowly transitioning to soft toss or coach pitch once the kids are ready. Practices and games are held typically twice a week. No scores or records are kept at this age level as this is an introduction to the game and should be kept simple and most importantly fun.
Little Braves Majors (Coach Pitch/Kid Pitch):
The Majors Division is for 7-9 year olds with the potential for some 10 year olds who are new to baseball. This division will continue to learn and grow on the basic concepts of the game. Focus will be given to throwing, fielding and hitting. The beginning of the year will start with kid pitch. Practices and games are held typically two to three times a week. Scores will be kept at this level.
LCYBL 10U Section 1, 2 & 3:
These teams will travel throughout Lancaster County and compete against other top teams within the LCYBL. This team will be selected following the player evaluations. The players will continue to learn, build and grow on the prior fundamentals they have learned as this is competitive league with the potential for a year end tournament.
LCYBL 12U Section 1, 2 & 3:
These teams will travel throughout Lancaster County and compete against other top teams within the LCYBL. This team will be selected following the player evaluations. This is a competitive league with the potential for a year end tournament.
LCYBL 14U Section 1, 2 & 3:
These teams will travel throughout Lancaster County and compete against other top teams within the LCYBL. This team will be selected following the player evaluations. This is a competitive league with the potential for a year end tournament. This level is used to prepare the players for High School Baseball.
